  • “Small businesses can still get in on billions of dollars in CHIPS Act spending — they just have to seize the moment.”

  • “This fall, the Chips for America program within the Commerce Department will release a funding opportunity for smaller projects, aimed at constructing, expanding or modernizing facilities for semiconductor materials or manufacturing equipment.”

  • “$500 million Tech Hubs grant program: The Tech Hubs program aims to identify potential tech hubs around the country outside of the typical epicenters such as Silicon Valley, Boston and New York, and provide the funding they need to grow. The official notice-of-funding opportunity is the first step in that process. Applications are due Aug. 15.  Groups can apply here.

  • “Recompete Pilot Program: The $1 billion program is meant to 'target long-term comprehensive economic development and job creation in selected areas by supporting workforce development, business development and infrastructure activities,' according to the Commerce Department.”
