Jacob Blas

Jacob Blas supports the development and management of strategic initiatives and cross-sector alliances at Public Private Strategies and the Public Private Strategies Institute. He works across a portfolio focused on economic security and democratic resilience, partnering with philanthropic foundations, corporations, small businesses, and community-based organizations to inform policy development, align stakeholder strategies, and advance practical solutions at the national and state levels.


Previously, Jacob served at the White House as Associate Director of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, where he led engagement with policymakers, advocates, and industry leaders on advancing economic opportunity, supporting small businesses, and shaping engagements around key domestic policy priorities.


Before that, he was Program Coordinator at the Rapoport Center for Human Rights and Justice at the University of Texas School of Law, managing communications, events, and fundraising initiatives to advance the economic and political agency of communities in the United States and globally.



Originally from the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, Jacob holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and lives in Washington, D.C.
