Zach Coplan

  • Associate and Special Assistant to the CEO, Public Private Strategies

In his current role, Zach provides support to the Executive Leadership team and manages the scheduling and logistics for the CEO directly. In this capacity, he is tasked with coordinating across senior leadership and key stakeholders to advance strategic initiatives across the organization. Additionally, he leads logistics and project management for summits, roundtables, and extended consulting engagements, supporting policy work and ensuring effective execution and alignment. Zach also manages tracking, documentation, and compliance for all funder relationships, including grants and contracts, ensuring all metrics are met successfully, and reporting is completed according to agreed upon timelines.


Previously, Zach worked for Commerce Deputy Secretary Don Graves and Commissioner Goldsmith Romero at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. In that role, he supported key operational and policy priorities, with assignments spanning logistics, stakeholder engagement, communications, and policy analysis in support of senior leadership.


Originally from the Chicago area, Zach is a graduate of George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, holding a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs with a concentration in International Economics. He currently resides in Washington, D.C.
