Public Private Strategies conducts extensive research and opinion polling to better understand the private sector. Our research findings inform policymakers, philanthropy leaders, business owners and others. Research topics include healthcare, workforce development, financial wellbeing, entrepreneurship, taxes, the economy and more. We use our research findings to better inform our clients and tackle society’s most pressing issues.

Business Owners of Color & Covid-19 Survey

Due to limited data available on the experience of small businesses, specifically, Asian-, Black-, Hispanic- and Native-owned small businesses, Reimagine Main Street, an initiative of Public Private Strategies (PPS), partnered with the Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (National ACE), the US Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC), and the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), to conduct the largest survey to date of business owners of color on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their businesses.

News Research: Small-Business Owners' Views on Health Coverage and Costs

The weight of health coverage and costs threatens the competitiveness of small businesses. To better understand employers’ perspectives on health care costs and to develop a targeted strategy for engaging and mobilizing to drive down costs and improve health outcomes, Public Private Strategies with support from Commonwealth Fund conducted a three-pronged research project featuring key informant interviews, focus groups, and a nationwide survey.
